Dental-Expo St. Petersburg, the International Dental Forum, will take place on 5-7 November 2009 in Lenexpo, St. Petersburg.  Over 90 companies will present the latest dental equipment and disposable materials from all over the world

The exhibition will feature products from Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Japan, Brazil, the USA, South Korea, China, Lithuania, Canada, San Marino, Finland, Czech Republic, Austria and Russia.  In addition, there will be manufacturers from the following Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Belgorod, Pskov, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, etc.

Dental-Expo St.Petersburg provides an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their latest technologies, establish new business contacts and share experiences by participating in business events held alongside the exhibition.

The main event during the forum is ‘MODERN DENTISTRY’, an international conference for Maxillofacial Surgeons, which will highlight the latest developments in international dentistry.  The Chairman of the conference is Prof. V. Kozlov, Chief Maxillofacial Surgeon of the Committee on Health of the Government of St. Petersburg, member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and an honoured scientist.  Kozlov commented that, “In these difficult times, business events like this play a special role, as sharing experiences allows you to find a way out of the situation”.

The forum will also feature the following business events:

• A symposium entitled ‘ANALYTICAL ASPECTS OF THERAPEUTIC DENTISTRY.  STRATEGIES AND TACTICS FOR CHOOSING ERGONOMIC METHODS FOR DENTAL SERVICES’, organised by Alvik-Medexpress.  Speakers include: A.V. Salova, a highly qualified dentist, Chief Doctor at Aelita Dental Centre and Aesthetic Dent clinic, a permanent member of the jury for the STAR championships in the “Aesthetic Restoration” and “Medical Whitening” categories and a Candidate of Medical Sciences (St. Petersburg); I.V. Kornetova, a  Doctor of the highest category, Consultant physician at VDW and Head of the Department of Dentistry and Implantology at MEDEM International Clinic (St. Petersburg) and I.A. Platonov, Chief Doctor at the Modern Dental Complex (Samara) and Director of Medical Consulting Company.

• A master class entitled, ‘INCREASING THE PROFITABILITY OF DENTAL CLINICS’, featuring Viktor Akimov, a marketer, advertising specialist, author of books and training guides for clinic directors and Chief Editor of Konsilium Stomatologiya magazine.

• A scientific and practical conference entitled, ‘DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF DISEASES IN THE TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT’, organised by the St.Petersburg Institute of Postgraduate Dental Education.
